Hi,
I need to exclude folders connected using Symbolic Links (mklink command) from Software Inventory and scan local drives only. Otherwise storages comes to be overloaded by multiple scan processes running on storage disks.
skpswi.dat file is not an option because does not allow to exclude all remote drive scan.
Conifigure Software Inventory to search particular folders only is not an option as well because customer requirement is to run inventory on all folders located on all local drives.
So enterprise level solution is needed to exclude all symbiloc links from scanning.
Any suggestion is much appreciated!
